Lyon

Come discover LYON with us!

We’ll draw winding streets, fountains, rivers, historic buildings, charming cafes…..

Saturday, September 13th to Thursday September 18th

Six full days of instruction with a farewell dinner on the 18th

... Lyon, more than any other city in France, embodies that illusive French "art of living" – the joyful synthesis of all that makes life worthwhile: food, wine, culture, friends and family – and it's an art that the Lyonnais are very happy to share with even the most casual visitor. John Graham-Hart, the Telegraph

Espedaillac

Explore stone villages, fields, ancient churches, markets, and cave paintings…

Sunday September 21st to Saturday Sept 27th

6 full days of instruction with a farewell dinner on the 27th.

The emphasis of this workshop is sketching and painting en plein air. The subjects include the stone architecture of the village and the surrounding countryside, cazelles (stone lambing huts) rolling fields, woods and shady lanes. Village painting will be the focus of day-trips to markets and nearby medieval towns on the Camino: Figeac, Saint-Cirq Lapopie, Marcilhac-sur-Cele. We’ll also visit Pech Merle Cave to see its Paleolithic drawings and spectacular calcite formations.

Kelley & Alison you are both such talented, inspiring, and creative instructors, which is why I want to continue to take your workshops! R. Tannock

I love you two together,  so different but so in tune, so skilled and great teachers,  thank you P. Ryan
